2003 Central Floridia Regional Competition

Team 342 was very successful in the FIRST Central Florida Regional Competition hosted at the University of Central Florida on March 20 through March 22. During the Awards Ceremony on Saturday, Team 342 won three awards. Our team won the Website Award. Our site maintained a focus on technology and its application to our robot. Team 342  also won the Animation Award. Our entry focused on the positive impact that FIRST has on students and the potential to change a students viewpoint from the negative influences to seeing the positive outcomes. Later in the ceremony, Team 342  was presented with the Engineering Inspiration Award for our efforts throughout the year to recruit and inspire students into the engineering, science and technology career fields. This award is the 2nd highest award that FIRST presents to a team.
