SHARING FIRST

Team 342 has been busy introducing FIRST to the Charleston aread. Over the past years we've brought Burnie to business forums, restaurants, and many other events. During last summer Team 342 members along with area FLL members attended an information session at SPAWAR Systems Atlantic on the Charletson Naval Weapons Station and demonstrated capabilities of the robots used in competitions. As a result SPAWAR funded five new area FLL teams, became a Team 342 sponsor and dispatched close to 30 mentors to area FLL teams. Most recently, we set up a booth at the Trident Technical College FLL regional competition and was a big hit.
